I create forms from layered fabrics and mixed materials, giving shape to emotional fluctuations and invisible distortions.What emerges are fragile yet resilient presences—beings that continue to break and regenerate.

Not confined to the human form, my work explores entities that exist between imagination and the mysteries of nature, revealing the “other form” that resides within us all.

【About IWACO】

She started making dolls in 1992.

After having learned the basics of doll making, she opened art  space "Soranote' in Kyoto.

She began holding annual solo exhibitions in Tokyo.

She won prize in DOLL EXPO2012, Art Stream 2016,as well as CRAFT MATCHING CONCOOL2017 2018 2019 winning.  Selected for the 28th Taro Okamoto Contemporary Art Award.

Overseas exhibition  in PARIS, LONDON, NY ART EXPO, Shanghai.Taiwan,  and up to present.
